Parents Survey Feedback

Dubai Γ‰ire Γ“g would like to sincerely thank all parents who took the time to participate in our recent survey. Your feedback is greatly valued as the Club continues to build and improve the experience for both players and parents.

We are delighted to note the strong positive feedback on the excellent work being carried out by our coaches and administrators. Their commitment and dedication are the foundation of our Club, and it is encouraging to see this recognised.

The overwhelming majority of parents also highlighted the great sense of community within Dubai Γ‰ire Γ“g, which reflects the true GAA ethos of β€œWhere We All Belong.”

At the same time, the survey has also highlighted areas where improvements can be made, and the Club is committed to taking affirmative action. Some initial steps already taken include:

  • Appointment of a Registrar to improve the registration process and enhance player retention.
  • Creation of an Irish and Cultural Officer position to promote all aspects of Irish culture within the Club.
  • Introduction of a dedicated Communication Officer to strengthen engagement, replacing the previous PRO role.
  • Appointment of a Schools Development Officer to cultivate GAA in local schools and help grow our playing numbers.

In addition, we will be making appointments to the following strategic positions:

  • Player Engagement Officer – to strengthen player welfare and enjoyment.
  • Gear and Equipment Coordinator – to manage the Club’s kit, hurls, and football equipment.
  • Travel and Recreation Coordinator – to support logistics, outings, and team-building activities.

We are also actively working with other clubs across the region to increase the number of matches and playing opportunities for our children in the year ahead.

As the only juvenile-only GAA club in the region, Dubai Γ‰ire Γ“g remains committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment where children can grow, thrive, and develop a lifelong love of our games and culture.

Please take the time to review the below file which is a compilation of all the responses received from everyone that took part in the survey. The committee and coaches would welcome any further feedback at any time throughout the season.
