Players can start from the Age of 5. We also offer a Nursery development group from the Age of 4. Ages are based on the school year when we are grouping. What Age the player is as of 01st of September that would be their group unless the lead coach moves them up.
We completely understand that kids want to put their name down for every ECA and then parents have to choose a few depending on price and schedule. YES - We absolutely can offer a trial. Please register with Helly on 0552959091 and come down for a trial.
We have all the equipment players would need to attend GAA. We would however love for all players to own their own Hurley and Helmet so they can practice at home, play with friends etc. We understand it is not always possible to upgrade equipment but if you go to Ireland for a holiday or have friends and family visiting - having their own equipment labeled always makes for a smoother game. Especially with ages 5 and 6. We would recommend for tournaments that ages 7+ would own their own mouth guard.
We start our year in September and end around April. We then have a few weeks off to organize Cul Camp which runs over two full weekends and splits into a younger players weekend (ages 5-8) and then older players weekend (ages 9-16).
Membership is based on ages. The price is for the full year - not term time.
Players aged 5-8 are 1100.00 which includes their kit.
Players aged 9 and above are 1300.00 which includes their kit and a training top.
When your child is signed up they will receive a Dubai Eire Og kit which we would love them to wear to training sessions and tournaments. In the interim any sports clothing or kit is perfect. Footwear they can choose between trainers and football boots. We just want them to be comfortable and happy to attend.
As a non for profit club we would always love more volunteers in all areas. If you can help coach, first aid, sponsorship or any other skills we would be delighted to hear from you. As our club grows we are dependent on the help of families - If you don’t know how you could help, we will train you up in one of the above areas.
