Thar ceann an Choiste, tá áthas orm fáilte chroíúil a chur roimh ár dteaghlaigh uile atá ag filleadh agus roimh gach imreoir atá ag teacht isteach inár gclub an séasúr seo.

Dubai Éire Óg has grown into much more than a place to play sport. From our nursery players taking their first steps in Gaelic Games to our older teams representing the club across the Middle East and beyond, we have built a community founded on friendship, inclusion, volunteerism, and a shared love of our games and culture.

Last season was filled with highlights, including regional tournaments, continued growth across all age groups, and the unforgettable experience of our U13 team playing in Croke Park. These achievements reflect the dedication of our players, coaches, parents and volunteers who bring the spirit of Dubai Éire Óg to life every week.

At the heart of our club is a simple philosophy: "Mol an Óige agus tiocfaidh sí" (Praise the youth and they will flourish). This principle guides everything we do. By encouraging and supporting our children, we help them reach their potential both on and off the pitch.

As an overseas GAA club, we recognise the important role we play in preserving and promoting Irish culture. Through our games, language and community spirit, we help our young people stay connected to their Irish heritage while creating lifelong memories here in the UAE. It is especially rewarding to see children from Ireland and many other nationalities embrace these values and become part of the wider Éire Óg family.

This season, we will continue to develop our coaching programme, strengthen our links with local schools, play more matches, and provide opportunities for every player to enjoy and thrive in hurling and Gaelic football. I encourage all our players to practise their skills regularly. Every pass, strike, solo and training session helps build confidence and improvement, and small efforts made consistently can make a big difference over time.

Our success is only possible because of the commitment of our volunteers. A special thank you to our officers and coaches, whose dedication keeps the club thriving. I also encourage parents to get involved in whatever way they can, as every contribution strengthens our club and enriches the experience of our young players.

The welfare, safety and wellbeing of every child remain our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding, coach education and inclusivity, ensuring every player enjoys a positive, safe and welcoming environment.
