On behalf of all the Dubai Eire Og committee, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our returning and newly joined players and parents. We are all looking forward to what promises to be a great season with DEO.

We are excited to announce that this year will see DEO compete in many tournaments, including a trip to Bahrain. For our older players we are delighted to introduce additional mid-week training sessions. As the club continues to grow, we are constantly striving to improve. The extra training sessions and tournaments will bring significant player growth, and most importantly it will see our players enjoy themselves and develop their gra for GAA. 

We will of course have our nursery starting back in early November for all our budding footballers and hurlers.

As our player numbers continue to grow, we are always encouraging our parents to become involved in coaching. Irrespective of experience, all parents are welcome to become involved – it is massively rewarding and enjoyable. For anyone interested please just approach any of the lead coaches and we would be delighted with the help.

Player safety and welfare is always our main priority for everyone involved in the club. With this in mind, the club has taken the initiative to run a safeguarding course for all our coaches. We are also providing first aid training for our coaches. This is something I am sure everyone will welcome.  

To all our sponsors, and in particular our main sponsor Emerald Hospitality, I want to say a massive thank you. Without their continued support we wouldn’t be able to run the club. We hope all our members can continue their support for our sponsors going forward.

Finally, we can’t wait to see everyone on Sunday mornings throughout the year.
